A functional ecosystem is a dynamic community of interacting living organisms (biotic) – plants, animals, microorganisms interact with each other and their non-living environment (abiotic) – sunlight, air, water, soil that exist in a state of continuous, mutual dependence. This interaction forms a “give and take” relationship where living organisms rely on the environment for survival, while also modifying that environment, creating a continuous loop of energy flow and nutrient cycling
In this functional ecosystem the living organisms and the non-living environment (abiotic) are not independent but interdependent. One needs the other.
It is interesting to note China is transforming the estimated 1.295 million km² Gopi desert to green through a combination of large-scale ecological engineering. Click on the LINK below to know about Gopi Desert Long ago the Earth was a
deadPlanet like the rest in the universe. One day according to God’s word [Bible] God gave life to the Earth [Genesis chapter 1, verses 1to27]. It did not take millions of years to turn the
deadEarth to a functional ecosystem. This fact is endorsed by China’s work in Gopi desert.
There is no iota of doubt that this dead
Earth was transformed into a green Planet in SIX days to habitat living organisms.
The Domain Eukarya consists of organisms with complex, nucleated cells and membrane-bound organelles, typically divided into four main kingdoms: Animalia,, Fungi, and Protista. This website focuses on Animalia, or Animals. The animals are classified into two main groups: vertebrates, which have a backbone, and invertebrates, which do not.
Vertebrates are further divided into five classes:
- Mammals. Clickto Mammals-Page
- Fish.
- Birds.
- reptiles.
- amphibians.
- Insects.
- Mollusks.
